Let's suppose, hypothetically speaking, that I won a lot of money in the lottery - enough money, in fact, for me to buy an entire tower block of flats. Let's also suppose that all the flats were empty and that I had decided to give each Livejournal friend one of them, as long as they agreed to live in them - not sell or rent them out. Would you move in? If yes, why? If no, why not? Sadly, [livejournal.com profile] sushidog won't be living in the tower block since I'll be hiring her as the receptionist; we both agreed it's not good to live in the place you work (we are still negotiating the salary, which I have agreed we'll be over 21 grand a year). If I hypothetically speaking had a lot of money, of course.

Let's suppose instead that I used the lottery money to buy an island and, with the cash left over, about 5 million pounds, I promised to award the Livejournal friend who won a competition I prepared on the island. Would you agree to travel to this island and compete? It wouldn't be anything sinister like Big Brother or Battle Royale. I'm thinking more along the lines of the Wacky Races.

There's a lottery rollover this Friday... 100 million pounds! It's already in the bag, baby.
