Texas' Deathrow

I've stumbled upon the journal of a man who has been on deathrow for 8 years, [livejournal.com profile] charles_mamou.

It reads as a legitimate account, but I also wonder if it's fiction.

looks like someone else is updating it on his behalf. in the userinfo section it seems to say as much. that it's not charles himself typing. that's the impression i got, anyway. it's intense if real.

i think it is. it's full of spelling errors that seem legitimate. they do give you computer access in prison, but limited.

I think it's his daughter, spreading his words as far as she can.

yeah i revised my opinion after looking at the myspace.

oh, i guess on his myspace it says he has no access so someone else is typing up things he's writing. i know some places let prisoners have access to computers, but maybe not death row inmates. his daughter seems to be the person typing up the myspace (chelsea mamou).

hunh. that's helpful. probably is his daughter. wow. that's wild.
