The Last Tribe

One of South America's few remaining uncontacted indigenous tribes has been spotted and photographed on the border between Brazil and Peru.

From the BBC.

Perhaps...I wonder if they even see the planes as they fly over - they can be pretty speck like in the clouds and stuff if they're high up. Helicopters are definitely more alarming, though!

Maybe one day we'll find out.

Heh, that picture reminded me so much of this (http://get-medieval.livejournal.com/8190.html) (read that one and the next).

They keep making reference to it throughout the comic as the giant white bird farting fire...

Yes, I don't suppose there are many planes flying over the Amazon! How weird to imagine what they must have felt seeing the helicopter... reminds me a bit of LOST. ;-)

Yeah, and in years time people will end up staying stuff like this (http://get-medieval.livejournal.com/61539.html). *laughs*

I'm not sure if I'd prefer the smoke or the helicopter (just seeing, this is), actually. Freaky. Helicopters freak me out (it's the blades!) and I'm not exactly native to a hidden civilisation... well, other than my own special one, that is :D
