I am intrigued by this, because I hadn't realised that Moz was in the habit of writing on himself; Gerard Way does it (and carried out some of his whirlwind courtship of his now-wife through the medium of marker on skin), and I know he's a big fan!
Oh yes, he wrote on himself back then. He also wore hearing aids (in support of fans at the time who had hearing disabilities) and carried gladioli in his back pocket (and had them thrown at his feet by fans at gigs); and more recently he wore bruise makeup to signal the pummeling he's been receiving in the press.
