Horseback Riding Lessons

Here's my nephew riding a horse for the first time (which he loved.) He's 14 months old. My mom just told me they have a video too, which they'll send me shortly.

That's his grandfather (from my sister-in-law's side), by the way, who is a pig farmer and owns the horse (before you start wondering who's that crazy man letting a little toddler horseback ride).

My nephew's name in the original Greek means "friend of horses". I wish I lived closer to my family.

And yes. I wish someone would hurry the hell up and invent transporters. Surely if this is the future we should have them by now!

Problem is that everyone would line up overnight to get their iTransporters and soon there'd be none available to buy for months - plus the ones in the market would have problems transporting people if held incorrectly - and it would just be a massive headache.

No, it's better that they all move here and live closer to us! ;-)

My mom and I were saying exactly that yesterday - fresh air, a big family around him, lots of animals. And he also has the option to visit Kevin and I in Europe or Canada. He's a lucky little boy. :-)

He adores animals - is not afraid of them at all. Which is a problem because two of our dogs have bit him already! (the sausage ones - they don't like children.) Another one of our dogs is about to give birth and my mom has got this whole strategy in place to keep her away from him because once he sees all those puppies he's gonna want to grab them and... that wouldn't be very wise near their mom.
